Factors Related to the Acceptance and Rejection of COVID-19 Vaccination

Aims Despite various government measures, control of COVID-19 requires immediate action, including vaccine production. Given the role acceptance factors in future planning, this study aimed to unfold determinants Gonabad. Methods & Materials This descriptive-analytical was performed on 292 people Gonabad city, Iran, 2021. The random multi-stage sampling method used select two groups samples: Vaccinated and unvaccinated. data collection tool consisted a demographic checklist researcher-made questionnaire reasons for accepting or rejecting vaccination. Data were collected by telephone analyzed SPSS software, version 23 using mean, standard deviation, Chi-square test at significance level less than 0.05. Findings Most research participants women (51%). Mean±SD age vaccinated non-vaccinated 57.55±12.24 55.38±41.1 years, respectively. Two living with risk (88.5%) respect rights others (80.9%) most important worrying about side effects (63%). Worrying content lack knowledge effectiveness (45.3%) mentioned as not Conclusion Considering importance factors, concern ineffectiveness vaccine, increasing public awareness vaccines country seems necessary plan invest large scale through reliable sources well efforts reduce fear consequences
